Justin Eugene Elder, age 29 of Taylorsville, was placed in custody on Friday, October 18th after being served warrants for failure to appear. He missed a Superior Court date in September on charges of felony possession of methamphetamine, felony probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. Elder is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $60,000.
