Alexander County Man Facing Long List Of Charges

Daniel Lee Taylor Jr., 20, of Rocky Face Church RD., Hiddenite, is being held in Catawba County custody. The charges consist of a series of failure to appear warrants on 2025 and 2026 offenses.

Felony possession of schedule II control substance
Felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises
Felony flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle
Reckless driving to endanger
Contributing to delinquency of a minor
Probation violations
Injury to real property

Taylor has pending charges awaiting trial in Alexander County. In 2025 he was arrested by Taylorsville Police and charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault by pointing a gun, larceny of a firearm and resisting arrest. According to court records, a disposition hearing is scheduled for August 10th in Taylorsville.
