Matthew Douglas Roop, age 33 of Rink Dam Road in Taylorsville, was arrested on Thursday by the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office. He is charged with felony sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance. Roop is being held in the Catawba County Detention Center. A court appearance is scheduled for Monday, June 24th in Newton.
