Alexander County Man Charged With Larceny

Casey Ryan Shumake, age 37 of Taylorsville, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for larceny. He was taken into custody by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and placed in the County Detention Center under a secured bond of $2,500. He remains is custody as of earlier today.

Shumake has a number of previous charges pending that include carrying a concealed weapon, second-degree trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia and a series of traffic related offenses. His next court date is December 4th.
