Jeremy Lynn Benfield-Cooper, age 48 of Hiddentite, was arrested Friday, May 17th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with second-degree trespassing, assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. As of earlier today Cooper remains in custody with a secured bond of $25,000.
