Alex Lee Hampton, age 30 of Taylorsville, was arrested Sunday morning for careless and reckless driving. He was also charged with fictitious tag and resisting arrest. Hampton has a list additional charges pending in Alexander, Catawba and Iredell Counties. As of earlier today, he remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $5,000.
