Devin Lee Bates, age 37 of Stony Point, was arrested earlier in the week in Alexander County and charged with felony probation violation. He is also facing a felony probation charge in Iredell County. Bates has been transferred to custody in Statesville where he’s scheduled for a Monday court appearance.
