This past Thursday at the Alexander County Chiefs’ Meeting, the fire departments and Rescue Squad were presented checks from State Senator Eddie Settle.
The funds provided to the fire departments will be divided equally among each department to assist with the purchase of much-needed equipment. The Alexander County Rescue Squad was also presented with a $20,000 check.
On behalf of Alexander County, the Alexander County Fire Marshal’s Office, and all of the agencies represented, we would like to sincerely thank Senator Eddie Settle for his continued hard work and dedication to supporting emergency services in Alexander County.
