Alexander County Deputies Charge Statesville Man

Kevin Lynn Waddell, 45 of Statesville, was arrested on June 3rd by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office and charged with felony probation violation. As of earlier today, Waddell remains in the Alexander County Detention Center with a Superior Court date scheduled for July 14. Waddell also has driving while license revoked charges awaiting trial in both Alexander and Iredell County.

Waddell was convicted in Iredell County of felony possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule II controlled substance in January. He was given a 24-month suspended sentence.
