Alexander County Deputies Arrest Taylorsville Woman

A Taylorsville woman was arrested following an investigation by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

Kashawna Denyia Dorvil, age 24, is charged with felony obtaining property by false pretense and felony probation violation. Dorvil is on probation for a 2023 conviction of felony larceny by employee. She was given a 36 month suspended sentence.

Dorvil is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $22,500.
