On Thursday, at approximately 4:30 p.m., deputies with the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported breaking and entering in progress south of Taylorsville.
Upon Deputies’ arrival, the suspect fled the scene on foot, leading officers on an extensive search of the area. The Sheriff’s Office utilized both drone technology and K-9 units during the search.
At approximately 6:53 p.m., the suspect was located and apprehended without further incident.

Bradley Dean Bandy
The following charges have been filed:
▪ 2 counts of Felony Breaking and Entering
▪ 2 counts of Felony Larceny After Breaking and Entering
Bandy is currently being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Tuesday, January 20th in Taylorsville.
