39-year old Misty Elaine Griffin of Stony Point was arrested pre-dawn on Thursday, August 25th by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She was served with warrants for failure to appear. Griffin has multiple pending charges that include felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and trafficking in schedule II controlled substance in Alexander County. A felony charge for possession of methamphetamine is also awaiting trial in Iredell County. Griffin is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $130,000.
