Alexander County Deputies Arrest Statesville Man

Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies served an arrest warrant for Alexander Ryan Pope, age 33 of Statesville, on December 28th. The warrant from Iredell County is for probation violation. He was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $45,000. Pope was scheduled to appear in Iredell County District Court on Tuesday, January 2nd.

In Alexander County, Pope has previous charges pending that include felony possession of schedule I controlled substance, felony possession of schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia scheduled for court on February 12th in Taylorsville.
