Alexander County Deputies arrested 55-year old Scotty Allen Travis of Claremont early Thursday morning. He was served warrants from Catawba County for felony trafficking methamphetamine as well as a charge of failure to appear. Travis was placed in the Alexander County Detention pending transfer to authorities in Catawba County.
