Darren Warren of 275 Airport Road in Taylorsville filed for Alexander County Commissioner as a Constitution Party Nominee on July 19.
According to Alexander County Board of Elections Director Patrick Wike, the NC State Board of Elections recently recognized the Constitution Party as an official political party on Tuesday July 9. Being newly recognized, the Constitution Party will have candidates on ballots in November. These candidates were chosen during the Constitution Party of North Carolina’s nominating convention.
The November ballot in Alexander County will now have (3) three candidates vying for (2) two seats.
Robert Kent Herman – Republican Party nominee
Josh Lail – Republican Party nominee
Darren Warren – Constitution Party nominee
