Due to the installation of a software upgrade, the Alexander County Building Inspections Department will be unable to process and issue permits on Thursday and Friday, April 20-21. Inspections may still be scheduled, but computer access will be unavailable. At this time, the department is expected to return to normal operations on Monday, April 24.
