Amanda May Call, age 30 of Taylorsville, was arrested on Tuesday afternoon by the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office. She is charged with felony abduction of a child and felony assault on a child under the age of 12. She is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $250,000. A January 22nd first Court appearance is scheduled.
