Alexander Central Tennis Courts Close Today For Renovation

Hoping the second time is the charm, the Alexander Central High School’s tennis courts on Liledoun Road are closed for renovation starting Wednesday, May 29th.. The money comes from a State Capital Infrastructure Fund (SCIF) grant.

The project was to take place in June of 2023. The contractor had supply issues and the job was re-bid.

No word on when the work will be completed but the upgrades include resurfaced courts with a ProBounce surface, new fencing, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compatible sidewalks, bleachers, and a shelter.
