The visitors from Lenoir got a three-point basket to open the game, it was the only time they would lead as Alexander Central romped over the Panthers. AC would lead 18-5 after the opening quarter and 36-11 at half. Chsney Stikeleather led the Lady Cougars with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Julianna Walter pitched in 13 and Madeleine Jenkins added 10. Zoey Waker was tops for Hibrtien with 15. Alexander Central improves to 3-1 in Northwestern Conference play and 15-2 overall. Hibriten falls to 0-1 and 11-4.

ACHS fell behind early but recovered to trail only 11-10 after the opening period. They would lead 29-19 at the half and 48-27 after three quarters. Evan Presnell missed his first three shots but found the range in the 3rd quarter making a trio of three-point baskets in a period of two-minutes. He would score 20 points to lead the Blue and Gold. All 12 Cougars played and 11 of them scored. ACHS is 3-1 in league play and 15-3 overall. Hibriten drops to 0-2 and 6-8.
