Alexander Central High School had two students, Carter Payne and Khalil Voss, to score high enough in their audition to be selected for the NC High School Honors Chorus this year. Out of over 1100 students state-wide, only 178 were chosen for this most prestigious choir. Both Carter and Khalil were recognized at the concert for making the choir for three years, according to chorus teacher, Michelle Sullivan, a feat only few high schoolers accomplish.
