Taylorsville: Alexander Central won their 8th straight game on Wednesday beating Canon McMillian of Pennsylvania.
AC was up 10-0 after plating 7 runs in the 3rd inning. Lainey Russell was 3-5 with 5 runs batted in, including a homer. Kyla Hamby went 4-4 and drove in 3. Kirstyn Herman homered and went 2-2, driving in a pair of runs.
Laney Wike got the win in the circle for the Lady Cougars who improve to 8-1.
