Alexander Central won the Northwestern Conference Softball Tournament Tile on Friday with a 6-1 win over South Caldwell in Sawmills.
AC scored a pair of runs in the 1st, 4th and 7th innings and out-hit the Spartans 9-6.
Laney Wike earned the win in the circle going the distance allowing 1 run. She also went 2-4 and drove in a run. Freshman right-fielder Kensley Davis drove in a pair as did Anna Jordan. Davis was tabbed as the tournament MVP. Ava Chapman hit a solo homer.
ACHS is 18-4 and will be a high seed when the state playoff pairings are announced on Monday.
