Hudson: The state’s top-ranked Softball team roared into the league championship game with a 17-0 drubbing of Freedom on Wednesday.
Laney Wike and Macy Law combined to hold the Lady Patriots without a hit and the Lady Cougar bats pounded-out 16 hits. Kyla Hamby went 4-4 including a homer and 6 rbi. Kensley Davis hit a homer as did Macy Law. Adi Eckard went 3-3.
AC is 24-1 and will play South Caldwell for the Northwestern Conference Tournament Title on Friday.
