Taylorsville: The Lady Cougars defeated the visitors from Pennsylvania rudely Thursday afternoon at Central Park. Ava Hamby got the win pitching 5 innings in relief. She allowed no hits, no runs and 8 strike-outs. The freshman led at the plate as well going 3 of 4 with two rbi.
