Salisbury: The Lady Cougars knocked off the previously unbeaten East Rowan Mustangs scoring three runs in the 7th. East had tied the game scoring three times in the 6th. Jenna Mason chased home two runs in the final inning with a double, she had 3 rbi on the night. Kyla Hamby homered and went 3 for 3. Macy Law got the win in the circle going the final 4.1 innings. Alexander Central is 11-1 while East Rowan falls to 9-1.
The AC win gives them back-to-back wins over unbeaten teams this week including a dramatic 9 inning affair over South Caldwell Tuesday night. The Lady Cougars will travel to conference foe Hibriten Friday night.
