Alexander Central opened their 2021 Softball season on Monday by thumping St Stephens 21-0 at Central Park in Taylorsville.
The Lady Cougars scored 2 runs in each of the first two innings and put the game away with 9 in the third. Chesney Stikeleather went 3-5 including a homer and 5 runs batted in. Kirstyn Herman, and Abby Teague had 3 rbi each. Faith Carrigan and Kara Hinkle combined on a 1-hit shutout in the circle for Alexander Central.
