Five Alexander Central Softball standouts were named to the North Carolina Softball Coaches Association 2023 4A All-State Team on Friday. Earlier in the week, all five were selected All-Region.
Selected for the honor were juniors Ava Chapman (3b) and Kenzie Church (2b). Three Freshmen were selected: Kensley Davis (of), Lainey Russell (of) and Mcartney Harrington (c).
