Taylorsville: Alexander Central recovered from a loss Friday night to beat Lake Norman in a noon game on Saturday.
The Wildcats led 2-1 heading to the home-half of inning five. The Lady Cougars would plate 4 runs in the 5th and add another 5 in the 6th. Kensley Davis had 5 runs batted-in going 2 for 5. Kirstyn Herman homered and drove in a pair. Ava Chapman went 3 of 4 and Kyla Hamby homered for ACHS.
Laney Wike got the win going the final 4.2 innings.
Alexander Central is now 15-3. Lake Norman drops to 13-7.
