Alexander Central Softball Bounces Back And Wallops West Wilkes

Millers Creek: Still stinging from a loss Friday night at Central Cabarrus, Alexander Central beat West Wilkes Monday night.

Laney Wike had a rough night in the circle allowing 4 earned runs and retiring only one batter after AC jumped on top with 5 runs in the first inning. Macy Law entered and went the rest of the way giving up just 1 run and 2 hits.

It was circle the sacks night for ACHS as they hit 6 home runs. Kensley Davis went 4 of 4 and drove-in 3 including a pair of homers. Kyla Hamby went 4 of 5 with a home run and had 2 rbi. Alivia Smith and Lyla Mayberry both went 3 of 4 with 3 rbi each. Mayberry also homered twice and Smith added a round tripper.

The Lady Cougars improve to 4-1 while West falls to 3-2.
