Taylorsville: Laney Wike pitched a 3-hit shutout and drove-in a run as the Lady Cougars romped over Watauga. AC jumped out to a 7-0 lead in the opening inning. Adi Eckard went 2 of 3 and had 4 runs batted in. Catcher Lyla Mayberry drove in a pair. Alexander Central improves to 9-1 overall and 2-0 in Northwestern Conference play.
