Alexander Central Releases 2025 Football Schedule

Alexander Central has released their 2025 Football Schedule. It includes some interesting non-conference games and the first year of the newly configured Northwestern Conference.

Newton-Conover, coached by former Cougar offensive coordinator Matt Wilson shows up on the schedule for the first time since 1980. Hickory is back after a couple year’s absence and the game will be played at Lenoir-Rhyne University. Ashe County remains on the slate but this time, it’s non-conference. Statesville is the lone holdover from 2024 and South Iredell returns for the first time since 2021.

The Cougars will open the season under new coach Chris Marshall on August 22nd and again B86 Radio and 860wacb.com will cover every minute of every game !
