Alexander Central Basketball Wins Four Games Over South Iredell

Taylorsville: The Lady Cougars bounced -back after losing in the championship game of the holiday tournament with a win over the visitors from Troutman. Meredith Wike led with 21 points, Malayah Adams added 18 and Addie Jack contributed 12. AC improves to 12-1 while South drops to 5-8

Varsity Men

Alexander Central 91 South Iredell 75

The Cougars led 35-32 at half but made the game a rout in the third quarter outscoring the Vikings 32-13. Noah VanBeurden led with 37 points including 5 three-pointers. Jaheim Redmond pitched-in 24 and sophomore Kade Flowers continued to shine with 17. ACHS is now 8-5 with the win.
