Alexander Central Baseball Wins, Cougar Tennis Wins Playoff Match

The Cougars took a 3-0 lead in the second inning. The were leading 5-1 after six and held-off a Pioneer rally to advance to the championship game.

Jude Carter got the win on the mound going 6 innings while allowing 4 hits and a run.

Senior Wyatt Smith went 2-3 with two rbi. Kade Church and Koa Mikeal both had runs-batted-in.

AC is 21-3 heading into the championship final on Thursday. They will play the winner of the St Stephens vrs South Caldwell game.
