Lanoir: The Cougar bats erupted Friday night and AC routed Hibriten 13-1.
The Blue and Gold plated two runs in the first and five in second in a game halted after five innings due to the mercy rule. Sophomore LF Graham Hoke had 4 rbi with a pair of doubles in 4 at bats. Sawyer Chapman-Mays had 3 rbi as did Maddix Reesse. Jr hurler Dillon Church got the win allowing a single run on 4 hits. The win advances the Cougars to 7-6 and 3-1 in conference. Hibriten falls to 8-4 and 2-2.
