Release From Alexander Central Athletics Director Nathan Robinson
The Northwestern Conference ADs met earlier on Friday and adjusted all Fall schedules to accommodate the conference teams not being able to play games for the week of 10/7-10/12 due to the recent hurricane.
No games will be played on Monday 10/7 and Tuesday 10/8 for all NWC teams. Games will be tentatively scheduled for the remaining part of the week. Those games and times will be released as soon as we get more information from the NCHSAA and the local school systems.
This will change our plans for the upcoming Homecoming football game originally scheduled for Friday 10/11 vs Watauga.
