Bryson Hammer
Hammer was drafted last July by the Colorado Rockies in the 12th round of the Major League Draft. The 22-year old lefty pitcher has been advanced in the Rockies chain from low-A Fresno to high-A Spokane. Hammer sparkled this season going 5-3, 50.1 innings, 1.25 earned run average, 1.17 WHIP, 52 strikeouts and 24 walks. He also notched 5 saves.
After graduating Alexander Central, Hammer played at Clemson, CVCC and Dallas Baptist prior to being drafted.
