AC Softball Hands West Wilkes Their First Loss Of Season

Taylorsville: The undefeated visitors from Millers Creek scored twice in the top of first but the Lady Cougars answered with three. AC would hold off the Black Hawks and get the win in a Saturday game at Central Park.

Kyla Hamby went the distance in the circle allowing 4 hits and 3 runs. Two of the runs were unearned.

Alyssa Chapman went 2-3 with 2 rbi to pace Alexander Central. Ava Hamby, Lyla Mayberry and Jenna Mason drove in runs for ACHS who improve to 15-6. West Wilkes suffers their first loss of the season after opening with 16 straight wins.
