Taylorsville Police Arrest Man With Stolen Vehicle

Randy Lee Cook, age 33 of Cleveland County was arrested by Taylorsville Police on Saturday and charged with felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle. Officers spotted Cook driving a vehicle reported stolen in Rowan County. Cook is charged in Rowan County with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and first-degree burglary. The suspect is being held in the Alexander County Detention Center without bond and is scheduled to make a court appearance today in Alexander County District Court.

Update: During the Monday Court appearance, Cook was cited by the Judge for contempt of court and ordered to serve 30 days in the Alexander County Jail. Another charge was also added from Rowan County for first-degree burglary.
