Taylorsville Woman Arrested On Felony Drug Trafficking Charges

A Taylorsville woman is facing a long list of drug charges and is being held under a large bond.

The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year old Leslie Ann Austin on Tuesday and charged her with felony trafficking methamphetamine, felony possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, felony maintaining a vehicle/dwelling or place for controlled substance, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of schedule VI controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She’s being held in the Alexander County Detention Center under a secured bond of $500,000 and is scheduled to appear in Alexander County District Court on Monday, December 11th.

Austin has a series of pending drug related charges awaiting trial in Alexander, Iredell and Catawba Counties.
