A 70-year old Taylorsville woman was cited for assaulting a law enforcement officer on Sunday, June 8th. Alexander County Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance. Sharon Teague Haigler was charged with assault on a government official. As of earlier today, Haigler remains in custody with bond set for $2,500.
