Alexander County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 26-year old Frank Robert Schwantes III of Stony Point on Thursday and charged him with possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Schwantes was also served with arrest warrants for failure to appear from Iredell County. He had earlier missed court dates for multiple charges including felony possession of methamphetamine and driving while impaired. As of this morning, Schwantes remained in the Alexander County Detention Center with a secured bond of $40,000.
