45 Days In Jail Ordered For Stony Point Woman

A Stony Point woman was sentenced to serve 45 days in the Alexander County Jail on Monday.

26-year old Cassandra Ann Barrera was ordered to serve the time in Alexander County District Court for felony probation violations. She was arrested on August 1st for violations of her probation in both Alexander and Iredell Counties. She was also arrested in May for probation violation.

Iredell County pending charges against Barrera include felony trafficking in opium or heroin, felony possession of controlled substance on jail premises and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Those cases are scheduled for Iredell County Superior Court on September 15th.
