33 more cases of COVID-19 were reported over the weekend (between noon on Friday, July 30th and noon on Monday, August 2nd).
4,601 cases have been counted since the beginning of the pandemic according the the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. In particular, the numbers have shown a tremendous increase in the last two to three weeks. Last week, 62 cases were reported.
