The Taylorsville Residents Busted For Trafficking Meth

On January 16, 2026, the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on Millersville Road. During the stop, deputies located 173 grams of methamphetamine, leading to the arrest of three individuals.

Adam Stephen Warren, age 48, of Taylorsville, was arrested and charged with:

Two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine
Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale of a Controlled Substance
Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Substance
Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Controlled Substance
Possession of a Firearm by a Felon
Carrying a Concealed Weapon
Possession of a Firearm with an Altered Serial Number

Warren is being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $405,000 secured bond. His first appearance in Alexander County District Court is scheduled for today.

Nikki Tonya Horton, age 51, of Taylorsville, was arrested and charged with:

Two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine
Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale of a Controlled Substance
Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Substance
Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Controlled Substance
Possession of a Controlled Substance on Jail Premises
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Horton is being held at the Alexander County Detention Center under a $400,000 secured bond. Her first appearance in Alexander County District Court is scheduled for today

Stephen Blaine Brown, age 37, of Taylorsville, was arrested and charged with:

Two counts of Trafficking Methamphetamine
Maintaining a Vehicle for the Sale of a Controlled Substance
Conspiracy to Sell a Controlled Substance
Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver a Controlled Substance
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
