Hudson: Watauga scored 4 runs in the 7th inning and beat Alexander Central in the NWC Tournament semi-final Tuesday night. AC held a 6-4 advantage heading to the final frame but the Pioneers were able to take advantage of some errors to advance.
The Cougars out-hit Watauga 14-4 but 3 errors led to 5 unearned runs.
Sawyer Chapman-Mays went 4-4 for the Cougars, with an rbi and a run scored.
ACHS sits at 15-9 and await their State Playoff pairing.
