A Troutman man is headed to prison for up to 20 years following his conviction of sexually assaulting a child.
Christopher Michael Lovill pleaded guilty in Iredell County Superior Court of 1st Degree Sexual Offense. The judge sentenced Lovill to between 192 and 240 months in custody of the North Carolina Department of Correntions.
The Iredell County Sheriffs Office investigated a report of a child being sexually assaulted in January of 2015. The victim, a child told investigators that they were assaulted numerous times and at numerous locations. The victim is a family member.
