The series continues with “The Local Boys.” this Friday !!!
The Local Boys are an event band that has been waiting for the appellation “Americana”, as “Bluegrass” just doesn’t cover the material they do. With all members having deep roots in traditional music, they have a love for musical styles that have influenced and evolved from old time, country, and bluegrass. They have been actively performing at Merlefest, weddings, and beyond for the last 19 years running. From festivals to public and private events, you will find their audiences engaged and entertained. Their members include: Aaron Soots-guitar/vocals, Steve Holman-guitar/vocals, Eric Childers-Dobro/vocals, and Rick Gaughan-Bass/vocals.
