A Taylorsville woman is facing a series of charges following a rather bizzare incident that occurred Monday.
According to a news release from the Alexander County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to River Hills Court and Rink Dam Road. A female was reported to be in the roadway and attempting to enter vehicles as they were travelling by. The subject indicated someone was trying to shoot her. She was actually able to enter a vehicle according to the release.
With the assistance of Alexander EMS, 40 year old Jhilliaun Gay Osborne was taken to an area hospital for treatment and observation. On Tuesday, Osborne was charged with resisting a public officer, impeding traffic, and disorderly conduct. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $3,000 secured bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on March 19th.
A check of court records show that Osborne is facing felony drug charges in Catawba County including possession of methamphetamine and possession of heroin.
