Today, Taylorsville Police arrested a local woman and charged her with felony embezzlement. Linda Gail Bain age 69 of Taylorsville faces 6 counts following an investigation into the financial records of Ideal Frame Company of Taylorsville. According to Taylorsville Police Chief Dennis James, Bain was the company’s office manager from 2004 until August of this year. During that time it is alleged that Bain embezzled approximately $600,000 using company payroll software. Bain as part of her duties had access to the company payroll account as well as other accounts.
Today 6 felony charges of embezzlement were filed against Bain. She was placed in the Alexander County Detention Center under a $250,000 secured bond. She will have an initial court appearance Monday, September 14th in District Court. Chief James said the investigation is ongoing and more counts are pending against Bian.
