Taylorsville Woman Arrested For Failure To Appear

Hickory Police arrested an Alexander County woman Sunday on a charge of failure to appear in court.

22 year old Amanda Elaine Mellen of Telephone Exchange Road, Taylorsville was arrested for failure to appear in court for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Mellen was placed in the Catawba County Detention Center under a bond of $3,000 and is scheduled to make a court appearance on Tuesday.
